My Vision for
Greenwood Village
I am running for Council Woman for District 4 in Greenwood Village. My focus is on addressing the crucial aspects of development and growth in the community, and promoting an inclusive and prosperous environment for all residents. My campaign aims to bring about positive change through collaborative efforts and a people-centered approach.
High Quality of Life
My goal is to preserve our high quality of life in Greenwood Village while promoting developments that benefit our community. I support development and redevelopment that is within character and balances economic growth and our vision and values for GV.
Home Rule Authority
GV and five other Home Rule cities have filed a lawsuit against the State of Colorado to fight back against the continuous attempts by the state to take our local control away and ultimately the voices of our residents in land use and zoning matters. I believe strongly in the importance of local control to make decisions about land use and zoning issues. Locals and local government are best suited to understand the implications new development will entail.
Economic Growth
I support urban revitalization and redevelopment that is in character with our Village. I believe that development should highlight our values and vision for Greenwood Village.
As a commissioner on the Planning and Zoning Commission, I am already involved in decisions that make our Village more attractive for businesses and are in conformance with our Comprehensive Plan.
Community Safety
Our Greenwood Village Police Department succeeds in preventing and reducing crime. As a City Council member, I will continue to support our police and various programs to improve crime prevention to keep our families and children safe.
Fiscal Responsibility
As a member of City Council, I will prioritize policies that will attract private investment and promote economic growth. I will ensure that our budget remains balanced and that we are making smart investments in our community.
Park and Trailsystem
Upholding our great trail and park system is crucial for maintaining community health, providing recreational opportunities, and preserving natural spaces for future generations. GV has sustained and improved continuously GV’s trails and parks, and I will support this ongoing effort.
